arang is a music show in Malayalam on Kairali WE, hosted by playback singer Sayanora. The band 'Tarang' jams with a celebrated musician, singer, instrumentalist or percussionist, in each episode. Prakash Ulliyeri, who is on the keyboard and harmonium, composes the pieces for each episode. Other band members are Sayanora (vocals), Vivekanandan (vocals/violin), Santhosh (guitar/ banjo), Jossy (bass guitar), Mahesh Mani (tabla/mridangam), Shomi (percussions), Nirmal (drums) and Sudheer (ghatam). The show, at times, also features folk troupes along with some traditional art forms of Kerala.
